Organized by Rooney Elmi and Ingrid Raphael, NO EVIL EYE is a radical, underground micro-cinema that aims to redefine the creative and social parameters of the Columbus film scene by curating an eclectic mix of films that vary in style and substance and by spearheading a physical space that fosters the union between the personal and the political.
Elmi is a critic, curator, and publisher of the film zine SVLLY(wood). Raphael is an educator, visual storyteller, and cofounder of The Grid Zine, a publication dedicated to black and brown immigrant and refugee narratives. (Program approx. 90 mins., digital video)
